BROWN EYED GIRLS started in 2006 and they were backed by big Korean names like SG Wannabe, Jang Nara and Ok Joo-hyun, the group’s vocal coach. This pop and R&B quartet from Nega Network label consists of Jea (lead vocalist), Narsha (vocalist), Miryo (rapper) and Gain (vocalist) and launched in February 2006 with the best-selling hit “Hold the Line”. The Brown Eyed Girls, which are also the 2009 winner for best group category in the Asia Model Festival Awards, are acclaimed for bringing to the forefront of Seoul’s music scene hybrid Soul, a bona fide genre that meshes R&B and Hip-Hop music. |
